BQ25629: PMID Iq in bypass and boost modes

Part Number: BQ25629

I am working on a design where one subsystem has a VIN range of 3.4 - 5.5V.  Because of this I cannot directly connect it to the SYS output, as I want to fully discharge the battery to 3.0V.

Instead, I plan to connect it to the PMID output on the BQ25629, and use this in bypass OTG mode when the battery voltage is high enough, and boost OTG mode when it is <3.5V

However, The listed Iq is particularly high, and confusingly is higher in bypass mode than in boost mode.  This may force me to use a separate boost converter instead.  Can you confirm these numbers are correct?
