Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO
Hello,
We are developing a high discharge battery for drone applications using the BQ40z80. We are seeing issues with Ra updates during discharge - specifically:
1. low discharge currents (< 12 amps) - Ra updates occur at grid points 1-7 but then, often RDIS asserts later in the discharge and sometimes negative resitances (-1) are visible in Cell x CompRes in BqStudio.
2. high discharge (12 - 80 amps) Ra updates are very sporadic - usually only grid 2 or 3 update. Grid 4-13 result in no Ra updats. VDQ stays asserted, [RX] does not assert, [RDIS] does not assert
We used the TI chem ID tool and have a %.76 % deviation: "Best chemical ID : 3274 Best chemical ID max. deviation, % : 0.76"
Please advise on next steps.
details on the battery:
6 cell 12 ah
scale of 10
discharge currents in normal use: 22-80 amps
Thank you,
Reed
