BQ40Z50: Deactivate Fuse Pin 25 by Connecting to VSS - Can it be connected to ground?

Hi,

I hope you are doing well. We will be deactivating the fuse (Pin 25). In the owners manual guidance is given to connect Fuse Pin 25 to VSS in order to accompllish this. VSS is connected to ground. Is it therefore acceptable to just connect Fuse Pin 25 to the ground plane or does the Fuse Pin 25 need to be routed directly to the VSS Pin 9.
