Bq78pl114 - error communicating with C6748

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ78PL114, TMS320C6748, BQWIZARD

Hi,

I am working on TMS320C6748 processor. I am able to communicate with BQ78pl114(Battery) through I2C interface. I am trying to read RSOC parameter. I am able to read this parameter properly only after giving Relearn/initialize command from BQWizard application ver 3.2.
But with out giving this command the values read are not proper..

According to slua591 application writing 0x2007 to location 0x80 will do the same thing. I tried this option with my software but without any result.

Then i tried writing to 0x80 with 0x2007 from BQWizard application using SBD read/write utility but this also without any success.

Any read from this location should give battery status (according to slua591).But i am getting 0xFFFF through my application.
But from BQWizard using SBD read/write utility if i try to read from this location i am getting Error.

I went through the blogs and then tried loading .tmap file and reading this location but without any result.

My query

can we wite or read  from location 0x80??

if so how we can write.i need help on this.

Regards,
Shilpa
