TPS7A85A: VIH and VIL levels of Any-Out pin

Hi Experts, I want to control the Any-Out pins of this LDO using FPGA LVCMOS IO or I2C expander. What are the VIH and VIL levels for this pin to pull it to ground and keep it open.

I have referred the https://www.ti.com/lit/an/sbva035a/sbva035a.pdf?ts=1699877073097&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.google.com%252F app note. Is this app note applicable to TPS7A85A or TPS7A84A or TPS7A8300ARGWT device?

Hi Abhijit,

Hope you are doing well. His response was that there is no VIL on ANYOUT pin floating. It must be ground in order for the internal feedback resistors to work. Please let me know if you want further clarification.

Hi Josh,

Can we use a I2C expander with TPS7A85A or TPS7A84A or TPS7A8300ARGWT to change the output voltage of the LDO?

If the answer to the above question is no, can you please suggest an LDO with good PSRR, output current of minimum 2A (greater than 2A is better), which can work in the range of 0.8V to 3.3V (or more), which can be controlled through SPI or I2C.

Yes you can use the I2C expander and you can use that document to follow the guidelines to create this. Please note that the document is for a different device and changes will be necessary.
