TPSM63604: How adjustable SW Slew rate control works?

Hi,

I was wondering how the adjustable SW Slew rate function work. As far as I am concerned, one way to slow down the slew rate is increased the gate resistor, Is this function works also in this way?

If yes, compared to the bootstrap circuits, the Rboot in datasheet only increase the charging time of Cboot, but not the gate resistor. Could you please solve my doubt? Thank you very much.

Hi Yishan,

I believe you are correct where the RBOOT pin will not affect the gate resistor value, but it will have some effects on slowing the slew rate of the driving circuit.

See this note on the Design Considerations of the RBOOT resistor.
