Dear TI experts,
The customer used BQ25756 as their lithium battery management solution, but they found that the path management feature was not described in the BQ25756 datasheet, meaning that the battery would continue to discharge to the load even when it was low battery voltage. However, the EVM design uses PIN15 and PIN16 to control the battery discharge path, although the two PINs are described as NC in the datasheet. The customer wants to know if the device can be used for discharge path management? If so, how to design this circuit? Why are PIN15 and PIN16 NC in the datasheet, but these two PINs are used in the EVM design? Thanks!
