BQ76952: DDSG and DCHG vs FET_CONTROL()

Part Number: BQ76952

Hi!

Why does theTechnical Reference Manual say that the FET_CONTROL() subcommands "should not be used if the DDSG or DCHG pins are being used in DDSG or DCHG mode" ?  What are the consequences of using those subcommands when DDSG or DCHG pins are being used in DDSG or DCHG mode?

We'd like to use DDSG and DCHG like FET-specific alert pins, while still controlling the FETs using the FET_CONTROL(), CHG_PCHG_OFF(), and DSG_PDSG_OFF() subcommands. Will this be possible?

Thanks!
