TPS6593-Q1: low power mode trigger conditions

Part Number: TPS6593-Q1

Based on the following description, can it be understood that the triggering conditions for the two low power modes are as follows

Is there a truth table for several modes?

Partial IO: PMIC_ ENABLE=0; PMIC_ Nsleep don't care

IO+DDR : PMIC_ ENABLE=1; PMIC_ Nsleep=0

Active:PMIC_ ENABLE=1; PMIC_ Nsleep=1

Are there power consumption tables corresponding to the two low power modes?

  • Hello Yuzengbao,

    The two modes you are speaking of are the S2R & STANDBY represented by the diagram below:

    Partial IO: PMIC_ ENABLE=0; PMIC_ Nsleep don't care

    IO+DDR : PMIC_ ENABLE=1; PMIC_ Nsleep=0

    Active:PMIC_ ENABLE=1; PMIC_ Nsleep=1

    Yes, this is correct. With the enable active and the PMIC_Nsleep being active low you'll be in IO+DDR.

    In the above diagram:

    Partial IO == STANDBY

    IO+DDR == S2R

    Are there power consumption tables corresponding to the two low power modes?

    You can only find power consumption of the STANDBY (Partial IO) and LP_STANDBY in the datasheet in section 7.14 Current Consumption. But not the S2R (IO+DDR) mode.

    BR,

    Nicholas
