Hello Team,

via USB2ANY my customer successfully wrote with I2Cw the TPS25750 which then wrote to BQ25798. They verified this by observing the charging current which increased after writing to register 0x03.

Reading with I2Cr does not work as expected. Below screenshot shows a read of BQ25798 register 0x03, I2C address=0x6B.

Shouldn't the 3rd byte (from left) show 0x6B? According to BQ25798 data sheet the screen shot should show 6B 02 6B (with read flag)

Hi Hans,

I am looking into this, and will test with the EVM and see what I can find. Do you have a .json of your configuration that I could also dig into?

Please know that with the holidays coming up there may be some delay.

the EVM is in its default configuration. No changes have been applied.

Hi Hans,

Without using a USB2Any and using a TPS25750EVM, this is the traffic that I got when trying to do an I2Cr. I wonder if this is a function of the USB2Any, and need to test using this CHG EVM, but I am currently working on obtaining a USB2Any and when I get one I will test and get back to you with more information when I can find it.
