Hello team,

we operate the LM5143 in single output 4-phase mode. How ist the wiring of the slave controller?

Our assumptions are:

COMP1/2 signal from master controller is wired to COMP1/2 of slave controller

FB1/2 of slave controller ist set to VDDA

SYNCOUT of master controller is wired to DEMB of slave controller

Can EN1/2 of slave controller be left open or tied to VIN?

    Jochen,

    The schematic for 4-phase is in the datasheet figure 9-10.

    Yes all COMPs tied together.

    FB1 of secondary controls DEM or FPWM for secondary, it should match the logic of DEMB of primary. See table 9-3 in the datasheet.

    YES FB2 of secondary ties to VDDA.

    Yes SYNCOUT of primary to DEMB of secondary.

    EN1/2 should not be open or floating, you can tie to VIN.
