Battery Charger IC Selection

Dear TI team,


We are looking for Li-ion (all type of Li-ion) battery charger ICs for below broad specification.

Cells: 2 (Series)

Chemistry: Li-Ion, Li-Polymer, Lithium Phosphate

Input Voltage: 6V to 22V (It can charge when it's only over 9V)

Charge Current: 2A Max

I would like this to be a standalone charger (No fuel gauge) and I would prefer that it doesn't depend heavily on cell thermals.

Requesting TI team, kindly suggest us which ICs is suitable for our requirement from you catalog & also please share if any such similar system already design available in you system for reference purpose.

    BQ24610 is standalone buck charger controller that would work.  BQ25672 is a host controlled buck charger with integrated FETs that would work if you have a host processer/controller with I2C comms.
