Hi,

You can use the USB2ANY interface adapter and the software USB2ANY explorer for the evaluation:

USB2ANY Evaluation board | TI.com

Or you can evaluate the device by any controller with typical I2C interface.

Hi,

I don't see why I should buy an additional 100$+ adapter to use the evaluation kit. You used to deliver the software with LM3553SDEV in the past, I simply need the old software.

Hi,

Because LM3553 is a very old device, so the software might not work with some newer computers due to the USB1.1 standard that board complied with.

The best solution is trying to use another I2C generator and manually connect it to the LM3553EVM itself.
