TPS773: TPS77301DGK TUBE

Hi All,

I learned from the E2E post below that TPS77301DGK is scheduled for EOL.

When will the EOL letter be sent?

    Hi Ishiwata-san,

    The EOL letter for TPS77301DGK will not be sent soon since it is on build ahead, which means there will be material in stock for some years. It will EOL when this material is close to running out. When this material is close to running out an EOL letter should be sent for the tube version. A recommended alternative is TPS7A25 which is not planned to EOL any time soon.

    Thank you for your answer.
    I have an additional question.

    Does the term “material” refer to what is used to form the TUBE?

    Since there is a last buy period, I think it is too late to send an EOL letter once the stock is gone.

    Even in that case, is it correct to understand that the EOL letter will be issued several years later?

    Hi Ishiwata-san,

    Sorry for my delay, "material" refers to TPS77301DGK units. Note that TPS77301DGK (tube version) will not have last buy period, there will be enough units to last some years. EOL letter for TPS77301DGK should be issued years later.
