Hello
I need to design a DCDC converter with input voltage is 35÷65V and output 28V 10A.
Webench suggested me a Sinc Buck with LM5146.
Reading the datasheet I understood it is better to use a 4 layers PCB to realize the circuit.
For cost reason matter I have to use a 2 layer PCB. Is it possible make the LM5146 working well with such a PCB?

Because your output is 28V10A, so the thermal will be a challenge for 2-layer PCB board. You need to calculate the power losses of mosfet and inductor, then choose a proper one. In addition, for mosfet, try to choose a large package while ensuring good heat dissipation. And try to choose an inductor with a smaller DCR. The GND copper area under the IC should also be large, and more vias should be added to ensure good heat dissipation. Thanks.
