Can we use bq24650 for 24v lead acid battery with 20A rate? This is for solar cahge. DO TI have reference design or solution for this application.

The bq24650 charging current is 10A. Did you look at the SLVA437 App note?

Thanks, we look into app note SLVA437. My concern is if we change RSR and inductor can we charg with 20A rate? or how to get this charge rate current?

Changing the Rsr and the inductor won’t be enough. The charger is designed only to drive 10A. You can use two chargers for 20A. Also you can use external gate driver or add more FETs to drive more current.

You can also do it by picking FET with low enough Qgd so that the FET will turn on/off quickly enough for the given switching frequency and gate drive resistance
