TPS65220: EVM pre-burned or not

Hi team,

Please help to confirm whether the  PMIC TPS65220 EVM & TPS65218 EVM is pre-burned. When we use it, we don’t need to burn it again and it shows the default register?

    Hi Lillian,

    Both the above mentioned EVMs will come with default programmed ICs. There is no burn process necessary to start evaluation.

    For the TPS65220: Use the TPS65219EVM (same silicon). This IC is reprogrammable but the IC will come with default settings already in place.

    For the TPS65218: Use the TPS65218EVM. This board should come with the TPS65218D0 version of the IC which will have the defaults already burned in.
