Hi Sir
We would like to apply LP5520 to do color sequential lighting for LCOS display. The target maximum driving current would be 25mA for each channel.
The reference circuit as follows.
We have 8pcs red LED string on red channel, 4pcs green LED string on green channel, 4pcs blue LED string on blue channel. We will do manual PWM control for RGB lighting.
There are some question for clarification.
1. Does LP5520 support different boost voltage for RGB lighting?
2. Manual PWM control for RGB and frquency up to 360Hz. Is it available?
Hi Nick,
Please refer the below comments:
1. Does LP552 support different boost voltage for RGB lighting?
[Jared]: I think LP5520 can't support this function.
2. Manual PWM control for RGB and frequency up to 360Hz. Is it available?
[Jared]: Yes, it is.

Hi Jared
For question 1, we use color sequential control for separated RGB LED. That means we have different boost voltage for R LED tring, G LED sring, B LED string. Please help to double check if it is available.
thx.
Hi Nick,
Do you mean you will turn on R LED string, G LED string, B LED string in different time? If yes, I think you can set different boost output voltage in different time to meet your requirement.
Since I will be OoO next Monday, I will check it again and give you a definite reply later.

Hi Nick,
Sorry to late reply.
If you mean only one color will be on at the same time, then I think you can set the boost output voltage at different time through interface.
