TPS274C65: Reverse current blocking condition

Hi Team,

Could someone let me know what's the FET on/off condition in the reverse current blocking function?

My customer wants to know what will the FET response if they cut off both Vdd and Vs. If possible, could anyone share a simple block diagram of the RCB block marked in the datasheet?

Hi David,

Are you referring to a double fault situation where there is a reverse current blocking fault and loss of VDD?

I will have to check with our design team to confirm; It is possible our RCB FET will stay off without any supply due to an internal pull down resistance on the gate, but I will confirm and get back to you tomorrow.

I confirmed with design, the RCB FET will remain off when the supply is lost.
