The maximum rated current for the bq76942EVM is 10A continuous charge or discharge.

Dear Max,

Thank you for the response.

What make it to limit to 10A. As I see the MOSFETs from TI is rated up to 100A.

What needs to be taken care if I achieve 30A in my custom design. Can I go ahead with same MOSFETs

Any design suggestions will help.

Hello Rajendra,

This is just due to limitations due to the board's layout. The board's layout was made for simple evaluation of the part, it was not meant to have too much current flow through it.

Yes, you could go ahead with the same MOSFETs, you will have to manage the thermals when having high currents.
