BQ40Z50: BQ40Z50: Ship mode

Hi 

The customer design with BQ40Z50, the ship mode function is enable and set the time is 64800. Most batteries will enter automatically, but a small part will not.

The time is adjusted to 24 hours, and the error is estimated to be about 20 minutes. The ship mode function is normal. I am just confused about why a small part does not enter ship mode and how to avoid this problem.

    Hi Star,

    Key things to be aware of are:

    1- Make sure it is in shutdown mode and not communication can happen for Auto Ship Time. (if testing in BQStudio, make sure the scan button are OFF)

    2- charger is not attached

    3- make sure the working units have the same settings as the non-working parts.
