TPS54260: Query regarding TPS54260

Part Number: TPS54260

Dear team,

I want output 5V but it is geting 4.6V. what is issue?

pleas check below schematic for different test point voltage.

Regards,

Sandip

  • Hi Sandip,

Thank you for sharing your schematic. A couple things to note:

    1. The resistor divider on Vfb will set your output voltage to a different one than 5V. Please adjust R110 according to R1 of this equation found in the datasheet:

    I calculated a 52.5 kOhm resistor for R1.

    2. Output voltage should be taken at TP24.

    3. Ensure that your output capacitor is in line with these values:

    4. R109 is not a resistor within the diagrams in the datasheet. TI does not recommend having a resistor here as it can interfere with the operation of the catch diode. See section 8.2.1.2.5 for more information on the catch diode.

    5. Your compensation network will likely need to change due to modifying the R1 and R2 resistor divider for Vsense. Please see section 7.3.21 for more information on proper compensation values for your use case.

    Thank you,

    Joshua Austria
