I am looking for an LDO with a ・ 5.5V 1.2A (peak max.) output and I am thinking of using the TPS7A4501DCQ.
Is there any problem even if the input/output voltage difference is 0.5V?

Hello

There should be no problems with the 0.5V difference, TPS7A45 can handle at full current a difference of 0.4V. Another option with a better dropout spec is TPS7A9201DSKR which can handle a Vin-Vout = 0.3V
