Hello,
I want to use the UCC2895N for a new design buy I see that it is as "last time buy".
Is it still safe to use it. This is for a big CERN project.
Best regards,
Rodolfo

Hello,
If ti.com lists a device as a last time by they plan on discontinuing the manufacture of the device. So I would not recommend using this device on a new design.
If this is a new design I would recommend using the newer UCC28951 phase shifted full bridge controller instead. The following link will bring you to the data sheet that has more details on how this device works.
https://www.ti.com/lit/gpn/ucc28951
If you decide to design with this device there is also an application note that shows how to design with this device. You can find this application note at the following link.

Hello,
Thank you for the reply.
Currently we have the UCC28950 and we want to change it, in order to remove the burst mode.
TI recommended to us to use the UCC2895. And it was then that I saw that the UCC2895 is in "last time buy".
Cheers,
Rodolfo
