(1).Our system connects the TPS65987D and TUSB1046AI in the same way as in "9.3 System Examples" in the manual "tusb1046a-dci.pdf".
Will "Thunder bolt 3" and "Thunder bolt 4" standards work with this connection?

(2).What do the letters "C, D, E, and F" written in "3 Description" on page 1 of the manual "tusb1046a-dci.pdf" mean?

  • Hi,

    *** TUSB1046A will not support TBT3 and TBT4.

(2).What do the letters "C, D, E, and F" written in "3 Description" on page 1 of the manual "tusb1046a-dci.pdf" mean?

*** C, D, E, and F are Assignment defined in DP Alt Mode Spec, they defined how the DP lanes are being mapped to the Type-C receptacle.

    Thanks
