Hi all,

I would like to ask you to check the circuit configuration.

My customer uses BQ28Z610 to protect battery and create battery pack.

Please check if there is any problems with resistance and capacitor value.

My customer created with reference to EVM configuration.

Hi Ryusuke,

I have two recommendations for this schematic:

1) All devices other than the sense resistor should be individually grounded and not tied to the negative side of the battery seen here:

2) Either a Net Tie or 0 Ohm resistor should be connected to the negative side of the battery seen in the EVM schematic below:

Hi Anthony,

Let me check 2 things.

1)Is there a model number for the Net-Tie resistor?
2)Could you tell me why I need a resistor on the negative side of the battery?

Hi Ryusuke,

The purpose of the Net-Tie on the negative side of the battery is for noise isolation. There is no exact model number stated in the EVM schematic, however an 8mm trace can be used in the same fashion to complete this.
