BQ25629: BATFET_CTRL_WVBUS bit writable?

Hi,

in the datasheet of BQ25629 on page 48 the bit

BATFET_CTRL_WVBUS

of REG0x18_Charger_Control_2 Register 

is stated to be of Type R (read only), but we think that this bit is R/W as it can be set to 1 to

"Optionally allows BATFET off or system power reset with adapter present".

We also tested setting the bit and it seemed to work as described. 

Is this an error in the datasheet or could it happen to be read only for some revisions of the chip?

    Hi Franz, 

    Thank you for reaching out via E2E. The BATFET_CTRL_WVBUS bit being listed as read only is a typo. It should be denoted as R/W. 

    This typo has already been brought to our attention previously and will be corrected in the next revision of the datasheet set to release before the end of the calendar year.
