LM7310: Leakage current of VFWDTH

Part Number: LM7310

Hi ti team,

Description of VFWDTH:(VOUT - VIN) threshold for fast BFET turn off (enter reverse current blocking) ,VFWDTH=(22.7 -36.5).

If the VFWDTH voltage is less than 22.7mV, what is the leakage current from the output to the input?

Block diagram below:

  • Hi switch,

To make sure I understand correctly - you are asking about VREVTH, the threshold for entering reverse current blocking?

In that case, the current from OUT to IN would be (VOUT - VIN) / Ron(28.4mOhm typ), and the device would act as a 28.4mOhm resistor, same as when VIN > VOUT, until the VREVTH threshold is met.

    Thanks,

    Patrick
