Hi wish to know , about Q current during interleaved single-output

We are using LM5143-Q for the 40A Max Operation & 25A continuous Operation with input upto 36V Max & output upto 14.2V

We are using two phases interleaved , during such interleaved condition we have to connect MODE pin to GND right?

Now during such condition what would be Q current ? , also let us know about the what can we do to reduce Q current

Hi Anish,

The LM5143A IQ in multiphase is not as good as dual-output.

Its fairly difficult to predict, the best way is to test on the EVM.

Note that 2x LM5148 in dual-phase is lower IQ than LM5143.

LM5143Q is not proffered for even for interleaved Single Output?

LM5143-Q1 is preferred for dual-phase, it is simpler design and better transients in light-load, however the IQ is not as good as LM5148 dual-phase.

A dual-phase example of LM5148 is in the datasheet.
