BQ25616: Change the hot temperature value to stop charging

I need to lower the hot temperature value from 45 degree C to 40 degree C to stop charging.  How to change the RT1 and RT2 of the TS pin ressitor network as dipicted in Figure 9-7 ?

    Hello,

    Use Equations 3 and 4 in Section 9.3.7.4 Thermistor Qualification. Use VT1% and rather VT3% instead of VT5%. Use the thermistor resistance at desired T1 and desired T3 (R_NTC,T1 and R_NTC,T3 instead of R_NTC,T5). In other words, anything related to T5, replace with its T3 counterpart. Run Equation 4 first to calculate RT2 and then use that to find RT1.

    Hi Mike 

    I have to set the hot point to 40 deg.C, but I found that VT3% is defined for 45 deg.C  in the datasheet.

    Is the parameter-VT3%(45 deg.C)  avalible for the equation (4) in my condition?

    Hi TW Wang,

    VT3% is a voltage threshold as measured on the TS pin, it does not measure temperature directly. Changing RT1, RT2, and the thermistor alter the temperatures at which these thresholds occur. Please use Equation 4 then 3 with the desired thermistor value at 40C inputted.
