TPS564252: Tiny notch in efficiency curve at low currents

Part Number: TPS564252

Hello,

I have made a custom design with the part XTPS564252DRLR (Pre-Production version of TPS564252). Everything works perfectly so far (see schematic in the appendix). In addition, the eFuse TPS259824LNRGE is located in front of the buck converter.

Then I measured the efficiency curve for U_in equal to 9V, 12V and 15V (L304 removed for this). I noticed that the higher the input voltage, the greater the notch/glitch at the lower currents (see image below). Is this normal behavior of the buck converter or what else could be the reason?

Many thanks for any advice.

Best regards,

Yannick
