BQ25730: Get the battery output voltage

Dear Sirs and Madams,

We would like to read the battery output voltage, so We confirmed for the BQ25730 datasheet and thought that We could get the battery voltage by reading the register below.

9.6.10 ADCVSYS/VBAT Register (I2C address = 2D/2Ch)

However, when I actually read the value of this register, only 0 was returned.

We don't know why the value of this register is 0.

If We need to get the output voltage of the battery, could you please tell us how to do it?

Hi MM,

You need to enable the ADC for VBAT first, set how often you want to sample data from ADC (one shot or every 1 sec) and start the ADC in register 3Bh/3Ah in order to read a valid value of battery.
