Hi Sir/ Madam,
For BQ79616 or BQ79600, do you have requirement for the cable used in daisy chain? The length, resistance, material.....
Thanks,

Hi,
The only requirements we have for our daisy chain cables are as follows: 1-1.7m long twisted pair cabling between two separate PCBs or EVM boards. And even then, with proper layout and isolation the daisy chain protocol will work with even 20-40m long cables. We do not have requirements for the cable material or resistance. Just for reference, with our EVM boards we include copper twisted pair wiring with about 1-2 twisted per cable inch (which reduces the impact of EMI interference).
Best,
Nancy Hidalgo
