I have EV2300 HPA002 , When connect USB to PC EV2300-84 USB Timeout Error showing and scan .

EV2300 inside damage a part ? I need urgent help about it

Hello Cengiz,

Are you having communication issues, or do you see physical damage to the EV2300?

The EV2400 should be used for new projects if possible, it has the updated firmware and is backwards compatible. Please check using the EV2400.

Before was work well , Yesterday I think wrong connection , EV2300 when connect USB EV2300-84 writing USB Timeout and no scan

EV2300 inside a component can be damage ?

If you help me , I can be glad

Hello Cengiz,

It's possible the EV2300 could have been damaged if it was either exposed to ESD or physically dropped. Timeout can also be cause from the gauge not responding. Please share a full screen capture of the software you are trying to use with the timeout error.

Dear Wyatt

Before was connect to EV2300-84 , without any connect battery was writin left down No Annowladge , But now always USB Timeout

J8 and GND is 3.85V , J9 and GND 3.3v

Hello Cengiz,

Have you tried with other EVM/gauges? It looks like the EV2300 may have been damaged if you are unable to communicate with other devices.

I tested EV2300 with with bq studio too , USB timeout same error

Which part need to change on board ? I need EV2300 urgent for my works

Hello Cengiz,

It sounds like your EV2300 may be dead if it will not communicate with any other devices.

I would recommend ordering the EV2400 which is backwards compatible and has newer firmware updates.
