TPS65219: PMIC solution for AM2431 controller by using LP8733 or TPS65219

Hi Experts,

We are in a board design with AM2431 MCU along with LPDDR4 and 2 No.s of RGMII Ethernet. (Voltage rails are 0.85V, 1.1V, 1.8V, 2.5V & 3.3V).

I am planning to use a power supply solution either with LP8733 or with TPS65219.

My doubt here is about the PMIC programming.

In order to use the above PMICs with AM2431, do we need to program the PMICs from our end ?
Or , The PMICs NVM will be coming with a default program in it? so that we can directly use the parts in our board.

Please suggest.

Hi Salman,

Thanks for reaching out. We have orderable part numbers (OPNs) for both PMICs that come pre-programmed to meet the power/sequence requirements of the AM243x with LPDDR4and Ethernet PHY. I have listed the part numbers below along with the collateral available. TI's customers also have the option to use TPS6521905 (user-programmable PMIC) when custom NVM settings are needed.
