hello,
I am using the TLC59116EMV kit and demonstration software. Works fine. But looking at the schematics (page 11) I saw a whole bunch of resistors on all driver outputs, which I cannot find on the board. how's that?
cheers
Henk

Hello Henk,
Could you please specify more in detail where you are looking in the TLC59116 user's guide? When I reviewed the user's guide SLVU296–March 2009 of the TLC59116EVM-390 (http://www.ti.com/litv/pdf/slvu296) I could not distinguish which resistors you are talking about.
Best regards,
Brigitte
Henk,
The TLC59116 is a constant current driver. The TLC59116F is virtually the same device, but is open drain. The open drain "F" device requires current limiting resistors. We have an EVM for each device. Based on your statement, I believe you are using the "F" schematic on page 11 of the "F" EVM compared to the schematic on page 10 of the Constant Current "non-F".
Regards,
Dick
