My customer is using our UCC24612 in DCM mode and they find when it oscillation as below, the MOS will turn on by mistake.
And they also find when add RC between D and S can fix this issue.
Could you please kindly help check the cause & help explain why RC can fix it & help advice other methods to avoid this?

Hello,
If there is excessive ringing on the Vds can cause false firing of the gate drive.
The solution to resolve this issue is to add an RC snubber across the Vds of the gate drive as you did.
If you want to fine tune the snubber you should be able to use the following schematic and equations to accomplish this.
