Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS25750,

We are students working on a project, which involves TPS25750 and BQ25792 circuitry. We recently had started a thread "TPS25750: No voltage on PPHV", because we had experienced some problems during the process, but the thread got "Solved" and now I have to start a new one again. Most recently we had short circuit on SYS and BAT, but it turns out there were a few mistakes while soldering the PCB (C19 was shorted) and now short is only present in BAT. Still, the question remains: is the BQ25792 IC dead or is there a possibility to fix it somehow? The PCB is fine, I've put the IC on a empty PCB and checked it before doing so: there was no short in BAT, but when the BQ25792 is present, BAT is shorted.
