ILIM=KCL/RLIM, what is the appropriate KCL value?
When the maximum current value is 1.7A, if we follow KCL =45, we are currently at 680ohm. Is there something wrong with the 680ohm setting?

Hi Ray,
Please view the datasheet for KCL values:
The acceptable range for current limit resistors is from 7.15kohm to 71.5kohm.
Thanks,
Shreyas
Hello, I want to set the current limit of 2.1A. How should I choose the KCL at this time?
According to the datasheet, changes in my current limiting resistor will also affect changes in KCL. Is there a coupling relationship between them?
Thanks,
Ray
Hi Ray,
I have attached a calculator to help you select the right resistance.

Hello
My custom chose a 680ohm resistor in the previous design, is this equivalent to not limiting any current?
Thanks,
Ray
Ray,
Please view the previous answer about the acceptable range of resistors and the datasheet. It describes the current limit when the resistor is out of range.
Thanks,
Shreyas
