TPS7A30: power supply transient load current

In the mentioned conditions of 10nF as CNR/SS cap, the inrush current needed by TPS7A30 is approx. 2mA for 10uF output capacitor. As you mentioned, when you are increasing the CNR/SS cap to 1uF, the current will reduce to 20uA. Let me work with Patrick yao and I will update you.

We discussed internally about the in-rush current requirements of TPS7A30 and he want to debug with help of your system board.

If you close it here, I think we will not get any answer later.

Acutally I don't think Patrcki find the root cause after long time investigation.

Currently, when we short the input and output of TPS7A30, there is no issue.

From measurement, we can see it's not external part issue.

But the inrush you mentioned above is much smaller than TPS65132 limit.

Both side FAE said we're ok, but no root cause.

It means we are lost here.

I would recommend you try to connect both part demo board together like the schemaitc I provide.

Let me know if you can repeat my issue at your desk.
