Single output two phase application

Hi,

If we use LM5143 in single output two phase application. Does it also support PFM or ultra low Iq mode?

I only seem datasheet shows it in dual output operation.

Hi Jeff,

The LM(2)5143/-Q1 does not have ultra-low quiescent current in 2-phase configuration (with MODE tied high). It will enter pulse skipping at light load but not achieve the super low quiescent current normally achieved with the dual-output setting. If this is needed, please consider two LM5148 controllers as a 2-phase configuration -- this has the added benefit of 80V input capability.
