Hi team,

Could you recommend PMIC for automotive application?

It is for V2L inverter advanced project, power supply for MCU (TMS320F28377S).

Input: 12V

Output: 3.3V (I/O PWR) & 1.2V (CORE PWR)

++ It would be better if we have 5V output also.

Load current requirement is not specified, but enough to operate MCU.

It is not necessary, but IC with Power good feature would be good.

Hi Zena,

Maybe the "TPS650330-Q1 Automotive Camera PMIC" can be a candidate if you can't wait.

Derby below should be a better one if you can wait for 2 more months for customer samples.

Hi Phil,

Thanks for recommendation.

But since this is automotive application, I think Vin should be at least 36V~ in case of cold crank.

Could you give another recommendation in this?

Also, I'm not sure whether to use LDO or Buck integrated device. Could you explain what would be more fit?

Hi Zena,

Derby has its Vin up to 35V with case of cold crank covered. I don't have any better PMIC to be more fit.
