My customer is testing a PD board they designed using the TPS23730.

The PSE board will use commercial products.

Is there a difference in connection between the 802.3bt board and the POE++ board?

Are there any differences in specifications between 802.3bt and PoE++?

PoE++ is not exactly the same with 802.3bt.

PoE++ PSE power can be slightly higher than BT PSE at Class-6 (65 W and 60 W). As well as TPS23730 hotswap's current is below 1.2 A, it should be no issue to use TPS23730 with a PoE++ PSE.
