TPS4H160-Q1: while Simulation using pSpice model TPS4H160-Q1, found result of leakage current is not matching with datasheet

Part Number: TPS4H160-Q1

while Simulation using pSpice model TPS4H160-Q1, found result of leakage current is not matching with datasheet. As per datasheet it should be 3uA but we are getting only 40pA to 50 pA.

will you please help on this.

Thanks,

Abhilash Patil

  • Hi Abhilash,

The model is to approximate the device behavior in typical conditions and does not account for variation over temperature and process variation.

Please use the datasheet value for edge case design considerations and the model for general load drive checks.

For best representation of the device, please test using the EVM.

    Thanks,

  • Hello Shreya ,

Thanks for details. Below setup we done on actual board and model

Please find below observation found between Pspice model and PCB board setup.

  • Hi Abhilash,

This seems to be a bug in the model. Please only use the model as an abstraction of the device to check its behavior as it drives a load.

    Thanks,

    Shreyas
