BQ40Z80: Soc become abnormal

Hello,

Can you please confirm if the customer has preformed a learning cycle on this gauge?

Can you please provide the .gg file and log file of this situation above occurring? This will allow us to take a deeper look into what is happening.

Yeah , they had prefomed a learning cycle on this gauge ,but in the market side return they found the SOC capacity is not correct , but cutomer do a learning cycle again ,then the SOC became normal again .

For clarification, they preform a learning cycle on the gauge, SOC is correct before they send it to market side, once it gets to market side the SOC is not correct, then they do another learning cycle and it is correct?

Can you please tell me if there are any differences between the customer and the market side that could be causing this difference? Is there a difference in the load attached to the gauge when the initial learning cycle is done by the customer compared to the market side?

I will look into the .gg file and log in the mean time.

1 .Yes ,the failure IC from the market back to my customer side ,and they do a new learning cycle .

2. They are same battery pack ,but maybe not difference load .

Attached excel verison Log file . and these is the load in my customer side just run a charge and discharge cycle .

I took a look into the log files attached and realized that you have Load Mode and Load Select as 1. Can you tell me more about of what the discharge current profile looks like for this application? If it is being done in the same way that the charge is with a constant current, then the Load Mode should be changed to 0 for constant current.

Customer discharger current is not a constant current .

What's shuld we do first if customer meet the remaining SOC at full capacity becomes 0% and full capacity and remaining capacity become 0%, and the Residual rate of charge remains displayed at 100%.

If u give us a suggetion ,that would be very greatfulll .I got customer's feedback that the same failure happend  gradually increasing.

Hi Gabriel,

In the sent .gg file, the design capacity is a negative value. The design capacity should never be negative, which could be causing issues for the gauge.
