GPCCHEM: GPCCHEM report Query

Hi TI Team,

We have used BQ27530 fuel gauge and BQ Studio application for generating Charge, discharge and relaxation logs & uploaded the same in GPCCHEM tool for getting the CHEM ID.

Attached the report for reference, the best matching CHEMID deviation is 3.32%. Is it ok to use that CHEMID or do we need to generate a new CHEMID for our battery?

Hello Mythili,

It is really up to you and your specific application on whether this error is acceptable. If this error is deemed acceptable for your application, then I do not see an issue with using this ChemID generated by the tool. It is also possible that if you were to regather the logs for the GPCCHEM tool and were to re run the tool, then the DOD error could dip below the 3%.

I'm not sure that I fully understand your question, are you asking what the steps would be to get a custom ChemID for your cell?
