UCC14141-Q1: Quiescent current of the gate driver

Hi,

I am using the UCC14141-Q1 chip as a gate drive power supply for my application. I am using the design calculator tool to estimate the component values. 

I would like to understand how to estimate the below values of the gate driver.

Quiescent current of other load on (VDD – COM) except gate driver, IQ_OTHER_VDD
Quiescent current of other load on (COM – VEE) except gate driver, IQ_OTHER_VEE

Can someone please help me with the same?

    Hi,

    Check your gate driver data sheet and look for the quiescent current rating. Some gate drivers will give two separate current rating for IVDD and IVEE respectively and you would enter the max value of each of these into the relocated cells in the Excel Design Tool. Other gate driver data sheets may only give one single quiescent current rating. If this is the case then enter this same single value twice, once for IVDD and once for IVEE cell in the Excel Design Tool.
