Hello team,
My customer is presently using BQ7695202 on their board and have run into an issue while bringing up the I2C communication channel. Please find some comments from them below:
"This IC, as per datasheet runs in 400Khz I2C mode by default on power up, and has Slave ID 0x10 for write and 0x11 for read. As per waveform given below, we are sending I2C write frame on SDA and SCL lines, but we are getting NACK. To check, we also tried addresses like 0x16 and 0x08, but we are still receiving NACK.
To ensure the IC is powered up we checked voltages on BAT pin which is 40 V and RESET_SHUT pin which is 0.3V."
I've requested for their schematic and layout to rule out noisy and high-impedance traces on the I2C lines. Could you suggest any preliminary comments here I can relay to the customer here?
Thank you,
Akshar Gandhi
