Hi, I am looking to build a charger for a 6V-4.5A lead-acid battery.
The spec on the battery are 7.25-7.45V and 1.6A max.
I would like it to automatically switch to a trickle once the battery is charged.
Input power will be standard 115VAC.
What device is recommended and are there any sample circuit designs?
Options being considered are a charging status light and a 6/12V switch.
