TPS659037: Power good pin is low issue

Hi team,

In our project we are using AM5728 Processor and for power PMIC IC TPS6590376ZWSR. We are facing a problem, the processor is doesn't boot the image from SD card. we checked the all voltages, all are good. But the Powergood pin not high. If the power good pin not high means the voltages are not properly delivered by the PMIC or any other issue?

We also checked the processor through JTAG. The test connection is successes but when ever try to connect to the A15 0 processor it fails.

this is the Preinitialization settings for boot.

Note: It is not updated schematic so R432 is DNI and R197 is placed.

Hi Veerappan,

Can you please check if the Powergood pin has a proper pull up resistor since it's an Open-drain output?

Or; is there a rail has overcurrent condition?

We checked the power sequence all are good. when I am try to connect to the CPU A15 0 It will fails to connect and the error is

Error connecting to the target:
(Error -241 @ 0x0)
A router subpath could not be accessed.
A security error has probably occurred.
Make sure your device is unlocked.
(Emulation package 9.13.0.00201)

How to unlock the processor and I am also checked the clock also it is good.

It looks like the issue is not caused by the PMIC; it's maybe caused by the processor.

For "How to unlock the processor", I'll forward the e2e thread to the apps of the processor.

Can you please start a new e2e thread with subject "How to unlock the AM5728 processor when all PMIC power rails are good?"

I reassigned it to processor team but they assigned it back to me again from the subject with the PMIC PN mentioned there.
